Ten Indian Commandments.

           The 10 Indian Commandments       
1.Treat the earth and all the dwells therein with respect.
2.Remain close to the great spirit.
3.Show great respect to your fellow beings.
4.Work together for the benefit of all mankind.
5.Give assistance and kindness wherever needed.
6.Do what you know to be right.
7.Look after the well-being of mind and body.
8.Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
9.Be truthful and honest at all times.
10.Take full responsibility for your actions.        


The ten commandment are rules that all native americans should follow. Its says to treat each other with respect and to take care of yourself and of the earth.

April Fool's

                              April Fool's 
1. April Fool's day is on Wednesday April 1st.
2. April Fool's day is when people play pranks on each other for  laughs and giggles.
3. A few theories about April Fool's day is that It originated in      France because the shift in celebrating     New year's on January 1.  Another theory is that it celebrates the Roman festival hilaria also  known     as roman laughing day.
4. The pros of April Fool's day is that you play some pranks on your friends.  Some cons are that some      people take it ti far and they end up hurting  people instead of making them laugh.
5. Pope Gregory Xii ordered a new calendar making new year on January 1

"Bless You"

These words are spoken because when people sneeze.

It originated in AD 590 in Rome when Pope Gregory 1 was there.

This saying originated because the plague was reaching Rome and he said that in hopes of fighting the disease to unending prayer and parades of chanters through the streets. They thought sneezing was an early symptom.

President's Day

Presidents Day

1. Presidents day is an American Holiday or you can say its George Washington's birthday.

2. The purpose of presidents day is to Honour President Lincoln and President Washington.

3. Presidents day is always on the third week of February on a Monday.

4. A few way ways to show honor and respect is by not going to school, remembering all the the             things they did, and going to mass in honor of them.

BasketBall

                             Basket Ball

2. Was invented in the Springfield Massachusetts.

3. In the year 1891  


4. Dr. James Naismith had students playing where they threw the ball in fruit baskets on a balcony.


5.To condition young athletes during the winter 


6. The first rules of BasketBall were: . 

  1. A player cannot run with the ball, the player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowance to be made for a man who catches the ball when running at good speed.
  1. The ball must be in any way the person of an opponent shall be allowed. The first infringement of this rule by any person shall count as a foul, the second shall disqualify him until the next goal is made, or if there was evident intent to injure the person, for the whole of the game, no substitute.
  1. A foul is striking the ball with the fist, violation of rules 3 and 4, and such as described in rule 5.
  1. If either side makes three consecutive fouls it shall count a goal for opponents.
  1. A goal shall be made when the ball is thrown or batted from grounds into the basket and stays there If the ball rests on the edge and the opponent moves the basket it shall count as a goal.
  1. When the ball goes out of bounds it shall be thrown into the field and played by the person first touching it. In case of a dispute, the umpire shall throw it straight into the field. The "thrower-in" is allowed five seconds. If he holds it longer it shall go to the opponent. If any side persists in delaying the game, the umpire shall call a foul on them.
  1. The umpire shall be the judge of the men and shall note the fouls, and notify the referee when three consecutive fouls have been made.
  1. The referee shall be the judge of the ball and shall decide when the ball is in play, in-bounds, and to which side it belongs, and shall keep the time. He shall decide when a goal has been made, and keep account of the goals with any other duties that are usually performed by a referee.
  1. The time shall be fifteen-minute halves, with five minutes rest between.
  1. The side making the most goals in that time shall be declared the winner. In the case of a draw, the game may, by agreement of the captains, be continued until another goal is made.
