Memorial Day

                        Memorial Day 

1. Memorial Day is when those who died in active military service are remembered. 

2. The purpose of memorial is to remember the people who fought for our country and their hard             work and dedication.

3. Memorial Day used to be on May 30, but it has been changed to the last Monday in May

4. Some ways to show honor and respect is writing     letters to the soldiers telling them thank you, visit       a veteran cemetery to pay your respects, go to the       parades, take cookies to a veteran hospital, and to           enjoy   freedom by spending time with your family.

7. What I will do memorial is spend time with family and be grateful for what I got and maybe go to a parade if I can.

                                           ACTS OF KINDNESS

There was a game between western Oregon and Central Washington. They were playing the final and Sara goes and hits her first and final home-run. When she went to first base she fell because of an torn ACL. Two players from the other team Mallory and Liz went and they picked her up and they carried her to every base unil home plate. This showed kindness from them because they were on different teams and they helped her out. The final core was 4-2 Western Oregon wonn.

Acts of kindness

At a high school game the coach put in his team manager knowing that they were going to lose the game. His team mate gave him a lot of passes, but he couldn't make them. A player from the other team gave a pass and the team manager scored it. They didn't win the games, but it was all worth it knowing that the team manager was happy. That is a true act of kindness from the coach, his team mates, and the player from the other team.
