Electrocardiograph Technician
Duties and responsibilities: These people explain the procedures to the patients. They attach electrodes to the patients to help prep them for EKG tests. Technicians will monitor the patients during the EKG tests. They will adjust the EKG machines in order to get accurate results. Some advanced technicians will perform stress and Holter tests. Salary: $34,385
Education: Electrocardiograph Technicians usually complete a certificate program or on the job training. Some states would require some technicians to be licensed.
